Tenova Bioplastics will cease its production in Åby

Tenovas owner, Billerud AB, announced in the beginning of December 2011 that they will integrate the development work in the field of bioplastics into Billerud to further strengthen its research and development of new materials.

In connection with this process, the production business currently located in Åby will be transferred to the Norwegian company BioBag International AS. This entails that Billerud becomes a minority owner in the Norwegian company and that the production at the Åby site will stop as per 29th of February. We would like to thank our customers, suppliers and partners for a good cooperation over the years.
