World Day for Safety and Health at Work 2021

Today, like every year, Tenova joins the international campaign World Day for Safety and Health at Work by the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the United Nations (UN).

More than one year has passed since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, and the entire world has become accustomed to dealing with this exceptional situation, which has deeply affected people’s lives. In this context, resilience has become an important quality to face uncertainty, and this is why it is at the center of this year’s World Day for Safety and Health at Work.

“In the past months, we have had to face enormous challenges posed by the sanitary emergency, enforcing preventive measures which have revolutionized the way we perform our daily work around the globeWe have established procedures that allow us to promptly react and adapt to the evolving situation, aiming to guarantee our major priority: safeguarding the health and safety of our employees and stakeholders, without compromising business continuity”

“Resilience has been crucial to adjust to the new circumstances, and I want to thank all Tenova people for the flexibility and endurance they have demonstrated, despite the difficulties. Within the crisis, we found our strength: the spirit of collaboration, innovation and creativity grew stronger and allowed the company to find alternative – but not less effective – ways to be beside our customers and partners ”
