Tempering of carbon steel is the final step in the heat treatment process and will influence the final material properties in a wide range. Tempering temperature and its accuracy is the most important issue because there is only a small step between successful and failed result.

Tenova LOI Thermprocess provides roller hearth tempering furnaces tailored to the customers' growing requirements on process security, quality and flexibility. Advanced heating technology for short reheating time to tempering temperature and best temperature tolerance is combined with overall automation and the use of advanced process models. Our furnaces are designed for a temperature range of 200 to 750°C.
